btremYeah, I'm looking at the wikipedia article you posted; it doesn't look like what I recall. On first glance, it seems to be a way to get only part of a page. I vaguely recall that idea -- I think there was a way to turn a slice into an app on earlier versions of ios/iphone, bicbw.
