trwnh re: "does someone really have the right" i think this can be asked about anything. do i have the right to do whatever i want with something just because "it's out there and you lost control of it"? fundamentally i agree that publication is giving up privacy and security, but "rights" are a separate framework entirely. by default, no one has a right to anything; it's more of a negotiated social contract
