you to keep your website cause we all love our websites here, but if you don't and you really don't feel like it's right you should probably listen to that. But definitely make a backup of everything, it'd be a shame if in a few years you went "ah i miss my website and now its gone forever"
#
[Jo]
i think even if you put a bunch of stuff on your site that generally people dont like or associate with social media and why they want to get away from it, it can still be a great asset to have full control over what you do vs having your content hosted somewhere else. I agree that letting other people decide for you is a bad idea but maybe the best approach is to see how you feel about what people tell you. People in the IndieWeb chat will tell

James: if its your own custom log format, I'd suggest looking at honeycomb and open telemetry as they have very solid views and queries on data from Web apps with a generous free tier

[KevinMarks] Unrelated, but I am getting back to the idea of a tool that lets you see backlinks to a web page:
#
capjamesg[d]
The link graph is computed from my web reader.
#
capjamesg[d]
The extension thus shows pages on sites I follow that link to the page I am viewing.
#
capjamesg[d]
This makes the link graph: (i) personal to me, and; (ii) something I can cache in my browser.
#
[Jo]
oo theres a browser addon for artemis??
#
capjamesg[d]
There will be!

Troubleshooting using my site as an authentication provider. http://indielogin.com redirects to my site. I authorize and it goes back to indielogin with the following:

How do I find out what parameters are missing or invalid? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
#
aaronpk
what software is your site running? your site is returning the "Missing or invalid parameters" error
#
aaronpk
yeah, need to look at the log file it should say which parameter is missing
#
gRegor
At a glance, the code looks like it's just checking for non-empty client_id, code, and redirect_uri, which should all be in the POST request back from indielogin
#
gRegor
If the logs don't help sort it out, probably worth filing an issue on the module: https://www.drupal.org/project/issues/indieweb?categories=All

what is css naked day
#
Loqi
CSS Naked Day is an event on April 9th of each year where participants delete or disable the CSS on their website, to show their content in its raw form https://indieweb.org/CSS_Naked_Day
#
gRegor
huh, weird, got logged out of the wiki. that hardly ever happens
#
gRegor
oh no! "Your IndieAuth server did not return a valid response: No URL set!" time to figure out what I broke XD

Weird, tried again directly signing in on indielogin.com, which worked. Then tried again signing in via indieweb.org and it worked. No weird logs on my end. Anyway, I'm in again.
