[aciccarello] Per https://fed.brid.gy/docs#web-profile I have `<a class="u-url" href="acct:mailto:anthony@ciccarello.me"></a>` on my homepage https://www.ciccarello.me/ but I can no longer find @anthony@ciccarello.me when searching toot.cafe
#
[aciccarello] [snarfed] It seems like the custom u-url acct: stopped working for my site.
#
[aciccarello] I can find my account at @ciccarello.me@ciccarello.me and that's what the bridgy fed website shows on my profile https://fed.brid.gy/web/ciccarello.me
#
[aciccarello] I refreshed my account profile details from the bridgy fed site but it didn't seem to be any different

[lazcorp] I got a small flood of old webmentions via http://webmention.io about 4 hours ago - did something break (or get fixed)?

capjamesg[d] aaronpk Does webmention.io save the "me" parameter?

#
capjamesg[d] [lazcorp] Were they older posts? If so, that might have been me.

#
capjamesg[d] I sent webmentions from and to every link in the network of blogs I follow.

#
capjamesg[d] This happens once a day, around midnight.

[Trevor_Morris] I've been able to deploy my updates, now you can get a random movie; https://www.trovster.com/movies/random
#
[lazcorp] @capjamesg[d] - yes, they were older posts, and I should qualify that I saw the webmentions on the Atom feed from http://webmention.io so it could even have been some change to the Atom feed

#
capjamesg[d] aaronpk Is it possible for a user of webmention.io to see that a "me" parameter was sent in the POST request?

[tantek] I’m starting to think one thing one creative / development effort we could do as a community (or even as individuals) would be to rebuild all the primarily positive Web 2.0 "social content" sites except as aggregators with zero accounts, and 100% web sign-in + webmentions to contribute content

[artlung]1 +1 [tantek]++
#
[artlung]1 Being purchased my entities with primarily financial incentives is what killed your e.g's of http://Del.icio.us and Upcoming. But scaling begets costs which can be "solved" by aligning with huge corporations with lots of money.

capjamesg[d] [tantek] I have found myself wanting a coffee news aggregator 😄

#
[snarfed] ironically, relatedly, the https://upcoming.org/ reboot from years ago seems to have stagnated and died

[snarfed] re the third one, sadly no, migrating DIDs out of BF isn't supported, https://fed.brid.gy/docs#migration
#
[aciccarello] Thanks for the fix!
