Lars-Christian Thank you @jeremycherfas appreciate it!

[artlung] Also, I just read this and was reminded how much software is not really thoughtfully put together. Let people have their last name! https://www.techspot.com/news/106907-people-named-null-punished-computers-weirdest-ways.html

#
Zegnat [artlung]: reminds me of https://www.wired.com/story/null-license-plate-landed-one-hacker-ticket-hell/

#
Zegnat Related to Mr Null, who has written for Wired: https://archive.ph/sQoCh

#
Loqi It looks like we don't have a page for "null" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "null is ____", a sentence describing the term)

#
Loqi ok, I added "https://www.techspot.com/news/106907-people-named-null-punished-computers-weirdest-ways.html" to a brand new "See Also" section of /null https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=100947&oldid=100946

#
[tantek] null << https://archive.ph/sQoCh

formercanaanite [artlung] I see, I will still try to come to the next FrESH as I want to know more about CSS anyways, thank you!
#
Loqi 🎨 Front End Study Hall (sometimes abbreviated as FrESH) is an HTML and CSS focused IndieWeb popup meeting focused on markup, styling, design, layout, and accessibility in a loose format where participants come to learn and teach https://indieweb.org/FrESH

[Sophie_Young] https://fediversereport.com/bluesky-censorship-and-country-based-moderation/ great read, interesting ideas about limiting government censorship

[artlung] I was playing with using `.tex` for resume generation and it sure feels like it is needlessly inscrutable. multiple temp files generated and and errors not really reported back to me to explain why things didn't work. It really makes me appreciate a print stylesheet and then print -> save as pdf which works fine.

#
jeremycherfas Zegnat++ Me too. Pandoc and a custom template enables me to give clients the .docx files they cannot live without while having little do do with them myself until they come back for revision.
