[0x3b0b] Every time I notice the "domains as handles for the fediverse" thing coming under discussion like it did yesterday, it reminds me that I _kind of_ wish I'd become more aware of the Indieweb "@domain@domain" convention before I decided how to configure my site. ...Although I'm still not sure I'd have chosen to go with that convention.

Loqi [preview] [snarfed] i'm tentatively changing the username from `me` to the source site's domain. we can still consider more sophisticated approaches like `p-nickname` etc, but this fixes an interop bug with mastodon and also improves username rendering there.

[0x3b0b] Yeah, I was pretty sure I remembered discovering it was a several-years-old convention when I found out about it. Actually, I don't remember whether I found out _after_ I had already set up my website not to follow that convention; or if I knew about it, decided against it, and then wished later that I'd thought about it more first.
