# reillypascal Also wrt file sharing, my partner and I have LocalSend (https://localsend.org/) on all our devices (Mac, Win, Linux, Raspberry Pi, iOS, Android) and it's great! Only limitation is you need to be on the same Wi-Fi.

[benji] zachary.kai to move files between my Android phone and macos I use KDE connect while on the same network. It works on other OSs too but I have not tried those out. To share files with others whether home or away, I recently started selfhosting copyparty and I kinda like it a lot for that use case specially since it supports removing files after a certain amount of time.
