@carrvo For what itโ€™s worth I started out by trying to build the music thing as an mf2 vocabulary, but it was a poor fit for mf2 and it was a poor fit for music libraries, and trying to get other stakeholders on board was quite difficult because they were all used to working with APIs and SPAs and so on. My mf2 experiment is still available at https://sockpuppet.band/radio though.

I did spend a lot of time working on it as an mf2 thing and it was trying to build it out and get other people on board with that which led to my decision to simplify and do a domain-specific feed format.

I'm just really confused about what prompted this individual to comment on nearly every issue on a repo that hasn't had much activity in the last few years. https://github.com/manton/JSONFeed/issues/144#issuecomment-3424749190

[snarfed] I am running into a weird issue with zachleat.com on Granary. The microformats2.html_to_activities isn't getting the u-url attribute of items on the page.
#
capjamesg
pin13.net gets the u-url.
#
[snarfed]
will look
#
capjamesg
I am using granary 9.0.
#
[snarfed]
capjamesg oh those URLs are relative in the HTML, you need to pass url= to html_to_activities
#
[snarfed]
or just pass it the requests.Response instead of .content, it will use the url in the response
#
capjamesg
Ahhh thank you so much!
#
[snarfed]
๐Ÿ™
#
[snarfed]
(passing requests.Response is a bit better anyway, it can handle char encodings via the charset in the Content-Type header or sniff it from the content)

capjamesg yes! A clever tool. Can also do stuff like `:has(p+p+p+p+p)` and there are also future tools like `sibling-index` and `sibling-count`
