Loqi Org mode is for keeping notes, maintaining todo lists, planning projects, and authoring documents with a fast and effective plain-text system https://indieweb.org/orgmode

[Al_Abut] [tantek] oh good call on org mode, that’s the kind of thing I was trying to remember. It could also be helpful for the actual organization of the text files, not just visual treatment.
#
[Al_Abut] For visuals, I cruised Pinterest for little details like this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/150518812540278682/

[Al_Abut] Is org mode something you use and have tips about?

gRegor [snarfed], FYI, I noticed in my webmentions-sent logs that sending one to https://brid.gy/publish/bluesky is returning with a 400 response body, though they're ultimately going through and publishing fine. From the log link on Bridgy Publish, it looks like that 400 is part of a token exchange process, "Got 400 ... ExpiredToken" but then it signs in again and continues with the publish.

[morgan] Im having fun continuing my bookmarklet journey
#
[morgan] This is pretty basic but also on an accessibility moment, the `<dialog>` element has apparently sufficiently advanced that many people use it a lot more for things with an accessibility focus

#
pcarrier Tuning difficulty curves for bots when you have a full database of exact scores for each position (which player wins in how many turns assuming perfect play on both sides) is… interesting
#
pcarrier And it's funny to have the easier modes take more computation than perfect play (though all in all very little computation)

[morgan] My bookmarklet is advancing rapidly I think that now I need to make sure the styles are scoped for the dialog, but its pretty clean!

[jeremycherfas] I know this is a real piece of string question, but as I dig into having my own home server for little apps, I wonder whether I should consider a second Raspberry Pi to do that and only that, or whether I should try to shoehorn it onto a single machine. That machine does not currently do very much. Some useful cron jobs and Syncthing, but not much more.

[snarfed] gRegor hmm! this was for https://gregorlove.com/2025/12/i-added-a-candy/ ? I see your publish webmention for that post, but Bridgy responded with HTTP 201, not 400, and JSON response body with the id and url of the newly created Bluesky post

Loqi [preview] [gRegor Morrill] I added a candy cane banner to my site for the month of December.

[morgan] [capjamesg] - James, it looks like to get this working as fully as I want it to everywhere on websites it needs to almost be completely in a web component, but for now I want to use a css reset
#
[morgan] Basically start by giving some class and IDs to the markup, and then making the styles more specific than then page it's ran on
