burgeonlab Loqi reminded me to post technical questions on the dev channel, so I'll just ask my qs here again, if that's OK: I was trying to apply the right mf2 markup and testing webmentions with `curl` using the instructions on https://news.indieweb.org/en/submit. I didn't know Loqi will push my post to the #indieweb main channel. (I thought it'll only show up on the news.indieweb page. Does
#
burgeonlab that mean if I decide to setup automatic sending of webmention in my CI pipeline; when that runs, it will find my previous posts (<10), and the #indieweb chat channel will be spammed with my existing posts tagged with u-category #indieweb? Is there any workaround? thanks.
#
burgeonlab I think the curl command with git diff won't find old posts, it'll just check new/changed posts going forward.

Zegnat burgeonlab: if it is mainly for testing your h-entry markup, I think news.indieweb.org uses X-Ray under the hood. So you could test the parsing on its own: https://xray.p3k.app/ (cf. https://indieweb.org/XRay)
#
burgeonlab haha thanks Zegnat, you're very kind. I actually did want to send a few of my indieweb posts to the news feed, just surprised it will show up on the irc channel too. I'll spread them out so not to feel spammy. I tested the markup with https://microformats.io/#parsing already but it'll check put the x-ray one too, thanks!

tgagor I didn't know about news.indieweb.org, but I will do something similar too 😉
#
burgeonlab Great! I used the u-category method with a Hugo conditional to check if I used the tag #indieweb, seems to work
#
tgagor I crafted a [Github Action for crossposting](https://github.com/tgagor/action-crosspost), it was before I heard about POSSE
#
tgagor I will extend it to allow webmentions too. I run then a crosspost on daily routine and it only crosspost/webmention the new stuff.

tgagor One silly thing that happen to me when configuring my website on https://webmention.io/ - I added my site twice (misclick). Now I can see it twice on "Sites" tab and there's no "remove" button. First one shows some stats, second don't. It looks harmless but maybe you know how to remove it?

[artlung] capjamesg[d] thanks for sharing https://pattern.kayserifserif.place/ - many interesting aspects to this. It reminds me of both Logo and ELIZA in some ways, I appreciated learning about https://coem-lang.org from the site. Language processing has a long history! Fun to revisit or start fresh on the topic. Also I feel like INFOCOM and text adventure creation contests are worth looking at.
