[tantek] in this case, since you can't move it, and can't put rel=canonical on the other end, I believe the best you can do is to indicate that the tweet copy is now secondary from your perspective. even if it was "before the fact", linking to the tweet copy with u-syndication indicates that you now consider that link to be the copy, and prefer the version on your own site
