[artlung]2[CrowderSoup] attempting to login to the gardn and getting "Could not start IndieAuth: Could not discover required IndieAuth endpoints" ~ I am able to use my endpoint with the demo on https://indieauth.com/ - holler if there's something unexpected with my markup or endpoint!
bubbybumbleRandom but does anyone use zed? I have avoided trying it since it was marketing itself as an ai IDE for so long and I wasn't super interested in integrating AI. I decided to try that stuff again once I learned to run my own models locally for LLMs (and not give all the sensitive project info to the chatGPT chat lol) and realized it's actually just a really really good editor. It's like they took vscode and fixed eve
CrowderSoupAh, [Murray] I looked quickly and don't see an authorization_endpoint `link` tag in your sites header. I might be missing it, and if so my apologies! However, the fix could be as simple as adding `<link rel="authorization_endpoint" href="https://indieauth.com/auth">` to your header.
[Trevor_Morris]I, too, am unable to log in. `Could not start IndieAuth: Could not discover required IndieAuth endpoints`. I have rel="me" to GitHub which I've used on other IndieAuth logins.
CrowderSoupYep, I don't support RelMe (yet). If you use IndieAuth.com as your auth server though (by adding that link to your header) you'd be able to login (since they do support RelMe). I'm currently planning to let folks login with Mastodon and then verify they own their website by putting a rel=me tag on their website. I will consider how I could support GitHub as well!
[Murray]Thanks, I'm aware, but given IndieAuth's long-term support status, I'm purposefully not using it. Keep meaning to look into hosting my own endpoint, but this is the first time RelMe wasn't enough, so I've never really had the push to do so š
