[Eddie] I’m currently working in the IT field and looking for a reliable coworker to collaborate with efficiently. This is a great opportunity to grow together and increase profits.
[Eddie]If you excel in at least one of these areas, that’s enough to collaborate — don’t worry if you don’t meet all of them, as I have several options available. I look forward to hearing from you and discussing details further.
[Michael_Kupiet]Ack. Wander is neat, and I was about to implement it tonight—I mean, couldn't be easier, right?—but I'd have to change my site's CSP rules to really participate bilaterally. I do have frame ancestor restrictions, I manually whitelist the handful of sites that can frame mine. I don't recall exactly why I originally instituted this, and honestly can't say I'm very concerned about clickjacking attempts against my site, but, at the s
[Michael_Kupiet]time, on general priciples, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with "I really can't imagine anything going wrong if I leave this open" as a security stance.
[Michael_Kupiet]Well, I'm just getting acquainted with this stuff, at first glance I'm not clear what problem their trying to solve (although that's no reflection on them; rather the fact that it's 2:30 AM here.)
[Michael_Kupiet]I did figure out how give Wander visitors a "hole" through my CSP though. A lot of modern browsers send enough info in the headers to know when the site is being framed and user .htaccess rules to redirect to a "frame safe" version that's exempt from the CSP rules. I might just set up a "Wander landing page" that people get automatically sent to. I dunno. It's still a little complex because I do have 2 or 3 services that are
[snarfed]in general we try to reuse microformats whenever possible. I wonder if this could just be h-cards? maybe an h-feed of h-cards, but not sure even the h-feed is necessary
[snarfed]we also try to focus on the consuming use case before than the publishing use case. here that's the wander UX/script, or something similar? I'd think about how that works, whether h-cards on a specific (well-known?) URL would be enough, and if not, why not
[Murray]that's surprisingly common. Not sure what Ghost's excuse is, but Craft CMS and a few others I've used all do it so they can use smaller character sets for slugs. 'Tis annoying 😄
