So at this point I can tell you that the original post of https://michaelkupietz.com/?p=32703 would have been probably a moment or two before 1pm California time. It didn't turn up at that time in the BF record or get syndicated, although a post created moments before under near-identical circumstances did. Then when I updated it a few hours later it suddenly got syndicated.
