[artlung]Apropos of nothing: _Finally_ added my cassette label display code to my mixtapes. Best shown off by those with two sides. For example https://artlung.com/mixtapes/1993-surf-and-turf/ when you click the label you get a popover to look closer.
[snarfed]also maybe surprising that it does that rebuild immediately, eagerly, as opposed to lazily, on demand? I'm on WP too, I make changes often, and it never flushes the entire cache 🤷
[Michael_Kupiet]As to BF: Ok, interesting. So at this point I can tell you that the original post of https://michaelkupietz.com/?p=32703 would have been probably a moment or two before 1pm California time. It didn't turn up at that time in the BF record or get syndicated, although a post created moments before under near-identical circumstances did. Then when I updated it a few hours later it suddenly got syndicated.
[Michael_Kupiet]Ah! Dang it! Yes, I have a plugin that backdates posts so I can edit make minor edits without updating the modified dates. It was never intended to be turned on for that post, but yes, somehow it did. Thanks for looking into it.
[Michael_Kupiet][snarfed] BTW I just ran my menu generation script past Gemini Pro, just to see what it would say. Turns out, last year, I had Claude optimize the queries so it wasn't hitting the database so often, and didn't notice that its "solution" introduced a variable scoping problem that caused a ton of redundant calculations and database calls as the function iterated through the category tree. 😕 Fixed now, menu regeneration time seems t
[Michael_Kupiet]Gemini, it should be said, also went ahead and tried to 'fix' several other problems that I don't have, but fortunately I was wise to its hijinx.
[Sophia_wood]anyone else on ghost with the network thing? On mastodon I see my index page, it says I have posts, but none show. Is it a settings thing?
gRegor[artlung], I don't think it's quite related to the RSVP issue, but I don't think `p-author h-card u-url` is quite as you intend in that HTML. That u-url will be parsed as the url property for the entry itself, not as the url property of the h-card (representing your homepage). The property needs to be nested inside the h-card element. Here's a possible example of what I think you intend: https://php.microformats.io/?id=202
gRegorI can see how you got there, though. There are minimal h-card examples where the parsing rule implies properties without the class names. Example: https://php.microformats.io/?id=20260401213924589 There is no `u-url` or `p-name` so they get implied. That implied parsing will stop once there's other nested properties, though, like the `p-name` I see in your RVSP link above.
