jak2kRE the licensing talk yesterday: There is a nice way to write the license into the source: https://reuse.software/ You could also extract it easily for displaying it.

[morgan]Related to GAAD, accessibility basically, I have found it a really interesting and admittedly frustrating topic over the course of months and a year or two getting really interested in it. But it's a timeless quality craft skill and I recommend all embrace learning more about it 😁
[morgan]Basically no one is against it, but yet I've encountered so many layered beliefs and reactions in different venues that make it challenging to speak a similar language. Simultaneously one must avoid being preachy or a holy warrior about the cause, because that ultimately doesn't really help either
[morgan]Just on the topic of GAAD basically I hold this truth: A majority of the web is garbage for accessibility, hence almost all trained generative stuff from the web will be bad for it too unless really worked with against the grain. Again and again I find that basically mainstream churned websites don't work well , whether it's a CMS or something else - they all kind of flail at it
[morgan]Just like a lot of accessibility problems tend to have a strong relationship to a fractured design process or system, maybe they patched in a CMS which did things differently than what was originally there, whoever is running it now has no institutional sway or input now
[morgan]Just for example my local county in the usa uses a CMS provider that does CMS stuff for basically 100s of counties. If they have a bug or problem, it's not an easy direct relationship to go about getting it improved
[morgan]A sort of Class A hypothetical example would be if you had a CMS that didn't allow you to add alt text. Like it's impossible to comply with standards if this is the case. Maybe it's not that bad but lots of things get swapped in for business organizational reasons that don't really promote strong access
