Arg, my broken link script using BeautifulSoup is now not really helpful as sites are blocking scripts so about 1/3rd of my links page list reports back as broken links.

Let's say I create a bunch of micro services (webmention, micropublish, microsub, …) and one client. How would that client send authenticated requests to those services without sending the same token to all or requiring multiple IndieAuth sign-ins?
#
aaronpk
separate sign-ins is the only way right now

there's some interesting new stuff in the oauth world that could solve that, but i suspect it'll be a while before that makes it to indieauth implementations

How is that interesting new stuff called? I could try implementing it.

i would be very curious to hear how it goes. i'm planning on experimenting with it myself but i am a bit backlogged at the moment
#
aaronpk
basically you sign in to the client first, then the client is able to get access tokens for all the microservices separeately

I just updated node to v 26 to play around with temporal. But before doing anything, I decided to make sure the new version of node was compatible with 11ty. `npm start` and I get a slew of errors. Oh no! Then I looked at my prompt and realized I was in the wrong directory. :-D
