tdrayson I have a pretty long personal domain and thought of having a nice short url that’s easier/quicker to type
#
tdrayson Does anyone have any funky short domain example they use for 301 redirects to their website?

#
Zegnat aaronpk.com comes to mind, but maybe not as short as you would consider?
#
Zegnat martijn.se is one letter shorter, but only because of the ccTLD.
#
Zegnat There are probably more people here in the community with shorter domains that then point to their longer domain personal websites

[social] [capjamesg] Thanks. Plotly does much of the work and is a rather good python package for dataviz and visual analysis tools that are interactive. The treemaps aren’t grouped yet, but adding the sliders for years and the drill-in some of the grouping patterns are getting clearer for categories.

[tantek] What is a short domain
#
Loqi A short domain is a short domain name and is commonly used on the IndieWeb for personal short URLs, or clever domain names https://indieweb.org/short_domain
#
[tantek] tdrayson, see examples here: https://indieweb.org/short_domain#IndieWeb_Examples
#
tdrayson thanks [tantek], decided on t4r.to which is a numeronym of "taylor"
