[Al_Abut] Accidentally picked up my pick for Dec’s book carnival a few months early. Super curious to see if this 31-year old book still holds up.

[social] I still have my copy (I think). I used it a lot when building and designing things for others who didn’t have that background.
#
[Al_Abut] I remember it as helping me make the jump from UX to UI, but the more I think about the timing, I think it was even more fundamental than that and it helped go from dev to design
#
[tantek] the little dots under some of the 'o's bug me
#
[social] the dots are for the “arts & crafts” web
#

#
[Al_Abut] It was the 90’s, I’ll allow it 😆
#
[Al_Abut] I mean you should see some of the neon colors I wore back then
#
[Al_Abut] Going outdoors meant dressing like Van Halen

[social] I don’t know that the outdoors was impressed 😏

[John_Gorenfeld] ↩️ It's a great book that helped me understand a lot of timeless Graphic Design 101 ideas.
