sensiblemn do i need to change the config.ini if known is in a subdirectory to tell it where it is?

sensiblemn i have a known instance in the root directory currently but am wanting to set up another known instance in a subdirectory. do i need to change the database name for the root Known instance to be the site host and add "multitenant = true"?
