[mapkyca]Shower thoughts: if someone were to write a book about using and building for known, is that something people would want? What would you like it to cover, if so?
[JuJu]I get the 'Rewriting appears to be disabled. Usually this means "AllowOverride None" is set in apache2.conf which prevents Known's .htaccess from doing its thing.' error message although the server is configured correctly. This is a common problem on new installs, as I cannot complete the installation. Any suggestions?

[jeremycherfas]I think it needs to be two books. Or maybe one reading from the “front” and one from the “back”. A guide for people who just want a website for their own or a community to use. And a technical guide to how Known works, how to extend it, templating, etc.
[mapkyca][LewisCowles] yeah, was pondering something like that. lot of effort involved, so was wondering if there was even a demand for something like that
[LewisCowles][mapkyca] it's a solid idea. I think price point is one thing. Like could it be funded in such a way that beyond a specific goal, it is donated to the community commons?
[jgmac1106]I really need to finish one....you sell it in bookstores with an activation code for students, this way they can use student loans to pay for hosting
[jgmac1106]so I don't require domain or hosting for my students as many are debating food or rent this month.....most have a full ride....so in bookstore is a way they can get freeish hosting

jeremycherfasManton's book was the **point** of his Kickstarter, except we all knew it wasn't, really. But that's what we were backing, a book.
