[mapkyca] [jeremycherfas] I don’t know how your client is uploading, but the photo plugin doesn’t accept uploads via url - it’s a direct file upload. Also check that it’s uploading the correct name, plugin switched from single photo to array some time ago

[mapkyca] [aaronpk]… is it broken? 😄 lot of those plugins have suffered some bitrot (and honestly probably need a from scratch rewrite). I’ve certainly not had the time, and nobody else seems willing to pick it up.

jeremycherfas !tell [mapkyca] Ah. So then I misinterpreted this `-F "photo=@/path/to/photo.jpg;filename=photo.jpg;type=image/jpeg" \` as meaning that you could supply the URL of a photo. You have to upload the photo file first, and then use its filename?

jeremycherfas I guess tyhat would be a strong case for having a media endpoint.

jeremycherfas I wonder whether I could first upload the image to `/Uploads` and then point at the filename there. That will have to wait for another day though.

jeremycherfas Yikes! I cracked (part of) my problem. Instead of addressing `photo/edit` I addressed `micropub/endpoint` and it worked!
