petermolnar somewhat indieweb related: how do you licence your photos? I'm searching for something that's more or less CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 but allows sublicences for specific cases

Zegnat Why do you need sublicensing on BY-NC-ND? Anyone who would usually be a sublicenser could just not sublicense and use it under original BY-NC-ND, right?

Zegnat And putting BY-NC-ND on your photo does not stop someone from contacting you if they want to license your photo separately. Nothing tells you that you can only ever use 1 licence

Zegnat Of course IANAL et al applies. But as I understand it, you can perfectly publish a photo on your site with NC and then say “for commercial use please contact …” and sell individual licenses (individual rights to use)
