#petermolnarsomewhat indieweb related: how do you licence your photos? I'm searching for something that's more or less CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 but allows sublicences for specific cases

#ZegnatWhy do you need sublicensing on BY-NC-ND? Anyone who would usually be a sublicenser could just not sublicense and use it under original BY-NC-ND, right?
#petermolnarI'm aware people will share photos if they want but I'd like to prevent being shared if someone is making money out if it unless they pay
#petermolnarso if it's shared for the sake of sharing, ok; attribution
#ZegnatWell … NC is non-commercial, so people shouldn’t be making money out of it in the first place?
#ZegnatAnd putting BY-NC-ND on your photo does not stop someone from contacting you if they want to license your photo separately. Nothing tells you that you can only ever use 1 licence
#ZegnatOf course IANAL et al applies. But as I understand it, you can perfectly publish a photo on your site with NC and then say “for commercial use please contact …” and sell individual licenses (individual rights to use)
