jeremycherfas !tell tantek I have checked the email I received from TinyLetter, and while I personally would not describe it as a site death, I can see that it raises questions for you. Users have always been able to export a list of their subscribers, and that is true for MailChimp too. I have emailed TinyLetter to ask whether it is possible to export the text of all newsletters.
