@kevinmarks ↩️ The indieweb protocols can be a basis for this, but the encryption model is https+ oauth,just rooted in individual sites not centralised. If you want full e2e scuttlebutt or DAT may fit better, but addresses suck there (twitter.com/_/status/1124994274334998528)
