J’aurai quelques questions liées à l’IndieWeb, notamment autour de la mise en place d’un provider IndieAuth pour gérer l’authentification à travers divers systèmes utilisés par une association. C’est où le meilleur endroit pour demander ? (ou qui)

[frank] no explicit reason. Implicitly a separate IndieWeb logo would be more work that no one has had the time to put in yet for this. The IndieWebCamp logo was a volunteer effort in the first place, first by co-founder Crystal Beasley, then updated by [shaners] to the current logo is in use.
#
[tantek]
Incidentally, we also switched everything from being all "IndieWebCamp" (e.g. IRC, indiewebcamp.com) to "IndieWeb", *after* Shane's iteration of the IndieWebCamp logo, so the need (for a separate "IndieWeb" logo) didn't really become apparent until after the fact.
#
[frank]
OK. I'm preparing an internal presentation on the indieweb for the agency I'm working at. A recognizable logo/image could help. It could be a nice volunteer effort for someone to pick up someday
#
[tantek]
Just use the IndieWebCamp logo. You can re-frame it as Indie Web Community if you like 🙂
#
[tantek]
(just thought of that)
#
[frank]
Oh yeah, it's not a buig issue
#
[tantek]
Anyway that's the history. I think at least a few of us would be interested in a separate IndieWeb logo, however I think there's also a concern about keeping the high level of design quality that Shaners put into the current logo.
#
[tantek]
wondering if any of this would be useful as an FAQ on /logo
#
[frank]
I can always check the designers here or someone in my network I know has sympathy for the initiatives

so I copied the schedule from Berlin, but the schedule grid doesn't actually make sense https://indieweb.org/2019/Berlin/Schedule
#
aaronpk
"13:15 - 45-minute sessions", but the first session doesn't start until 13:40
#
aaronpk
so what was the actual timing in berlin?
#
sknebel
13:40, since lunch took longer than expected
#
aaronpk
you went out for lunch?
#
sknebel
(which kind of was to be expected, scheduling took long and the entire "find restaurant and then groups trickle back" thing
#
aaronpk
gotcha
#
sknebel
Düsseldorf won't have that problem :D
#
aaronpk
yep :)
#
aaronpk
ok zoom links for all three rooms are added to the grid

still leaves 90 minutes for lunch

but we can't really fit another 45-minute session in there anyway

oh.. we don't have a keynote plan, so maybe we just drop that
#

lunch time might also be more or less fixed/scheduled with the kitchen staff already?
