@kleinfreund Phew, this whole IndieWeb thing is super convoluted. There are webmentions which are somehow comments. They can be sent and received. You have to use something called IndieAuth but it has an unhelpful deprecation notice. (twitter.com/_/status/1140543587748388865)

[jgmac1106] we really need to move away from gen1, gen2, gen3 etc...I hate versioning people, no problem with folks doing a self-efficacy check..but labeling is an othering effect: A user test from a “Gen 1” UX guy who just heard about this stuff last week.
