it's ok. it's a good UX exploration for a set of possible ways to solve some private messaging use-cases. it doesn't have to be everything to everyone. we can learn from their experience.

yeah, I think the biggest problem is they were trying so hard to solve "centralization" of data that they punched through and went out the other side. Their data is decentralized, but the tooling is very very picky and doesn't want to interoperate
