aaronpk multi-day events don't have the option of setting a start/end time (because it's rarely helpful and more often misrepresentative in a summary view), so for sorting, it uses the first possible absolute time of that date, which happens to take place before the pre-party

[tantek] oh wow, [chrisaldrich] is Ravelry actually IndieWeb /friendly now? do you know which building blocks they support? or is it that they are "friendly" to the community and interested in building support?

[chrisaldrich] they've indicated that they're willing to be friendly, and have offered help before (hopefully that was clear), but they don't have any specific pieces outside of their API that I'm aware of.
