↩️ I still love @pressfwd, but one of the major updates in the IndieWeb space since that article is the Microsub spec and social readers like Yarns, Monocle, Together, and Indigenous that let you reply from your reader and support Micropub. !tell jamietanna[m] I'm game to help organize an Online Camp. I'd recommend picking a date a couple of months out with 2-3 others that works, put it on the calendar, and just start putting it together.

Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next

once EU has a date set, I'm thinking we should schedule an East and West dates afterward at 3-4 month intervals perhaps?
#
GWG_
[chrisaldrich]: I'd love that.
#
GWG
Are we thinking 2021 might be in-person campless?
#
GWG
Or at least through summer?
#
[chrisaldrich]
Personally I'm planning on most of 2021 to be without a lot of in-person anything.
#
GWG
Either way, I'm in favor.
#
[chrisaldrich]
depending on dates for EU, we could do a Summit time frame camp and two others (East/West) to get something once per quarter during the year in addition to some smaller pop-ups in between...

[chrisaldrich]: Let's start with seeing what jamietanna is up for.

!tell Hibs I've started re-planning Gardens&Streams Part II for 2021 if you'd like to indicate what dates/times might work for you. https://indieweb.org/2021/Pop-ups/Sessions#Gardens_.26_Streams_II

↩️ And a sideways option to reduce heavy frontmatter: I put core metadata (tags, dates) in my frontmatter, and everything else page-specific (announcements, IndieWeb replies) in a same-dir data file. sqlite features prominently in managing / analyzing this.

I'd be tempted to say q2 for IWC EU so we have time to get it planned, but not sure if that'd mean you'd have time to get East/West in q1?

↩️ There are ways to publish on top of your HTML. Eg. I have a MicroPub API set up on top of my Jekyll blog: https://github.com/voxpelli/webpage-micropub-to-github Enabling me to use Micropub clients: https://indieweb.org/Micropub/Clients @LeaVerou took another approach with @mavoweb + @Netlify has their @NetlifyCMS

Installed Yarns microsub server and coupled with Indigenous as a reader/microsub client I can now respond to blog posts in a more social/IndieWeb kinda way.

You can follow my blog's presence on the Fediverse (http://Mastodon.social, etc.) at @admin@larrysanger.org. This is *sort of* like what I was asking for in terms of using my blog as a social media tool. Makes use of the "ActivityPub" WordPress plugin. https://indieweb.org/WordPress_ActivityPub_plugin

jamietanna[m] my general advice is to not overthink it. I suspect that if you put one on the calendar for late February/early March and focused on getting the word out, with a small handful of people to help out on the day, you'll have a crowd of between 50-100 without a lot of work. Since there's no travel involved and people can come and go, and you don't have to have a physical space, there's not as much to organizing as there was.

It looks like we don't have a page for "obsidian" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "obsidian is ____", a sentence describing the term)

What is Roam Research?
#
Loqi
Roam Research (aka Roam) is a silo that functions as a personal wiki, to do list, digital notebook, or commonplace book https://indieweb.org/Roam_Research
