I was thinking that too: it's not that we have an ideal solution for moderation and against abuse.

↩️ More social there's great potential as it's Drupal to leverage the indieweb and activitypub (fediverse) modules to share news to other platforms, be they federated independent or bridged to facebook and twitter, without relying on those platforms. 2/2

Watching https://events.indieweb.org/2020/04/gardens-and-streams-wikis-blogs-and-ui-a-pop-up-indiewebcamp-session-j9bg0pJDBgBD - Noticed after making a bookmark of the page, that the <title> is not specific to the event. It just says "IndieWeb Events" - Shouldn't this be more specific to the topic of the page? Editing the page does not seem to allow for changing the <title> tag.

Thanks! Not that I am planning on it... because #indieweb, but I like to be able to lead people to the right resources. https://twitter.com/cswordpress/status/1362540248148934664

↩️ Personally I'm not using it either, because #indieweb plus I genuinely do not enjoy it. But I think it would be really neat if people with disabilities who are forced to use it can at least get by until it's completely accessible.

↩️ Its built in a continued effort to rely less on SM platforms, and own my own platform (#indieweb). I want to post there to feel satisfaction of finishing a project/idea rather than here. I've also started a newsletter for me to post work and other cool things – may sound odd...

Okay #indieweb and web folk. How can I share from a native app (like Firefox or Twitter) to a PWA on iOS Safari? On Android I'd use the Web Share Target API. What options are there for iOS?

Desktop browser: bookmarklet (using encodeURIComponent) Android/Chrome: Web Share Target (https://web.dev/web-share-target/) iOS/Safari: ??? (or have I forgotten something REALLY simple?) #indieweb

🤔 the photo I uploaded for HWC London seems to have an error
#
[Ana_Rodrigues]
So strange - I just uploaded again and it doesn’t give an error. After “uploading” it takes me to the event page but it doesn’t show it.
#
aaronpk
maybe it's too big of a file? I don't know what the max is
#
[Ana_Rodrigues]
oh! I must have been lucky in the past. I switched to jpg and reduced the size of it and now it worked (it was 3.3mb before)
#
aaronpk
aha cool. i will try to raise the limit cause 3mb shouldn't be a problem

Just generated this week's newsletter! You still have a few minutes to make changes, and I'll re-generate it 10 minutes before it gets sent out at 3pm Pacific time. https://indieweb.org/this-week/2021-02-19.html

RT @lukas@indieweb.social flancian A thought that just crossed my mind: why do you use [[wikilinks]] instead of #hashtags? You could still use browser extensions to connect them with the Agora but they would still serve some native purpose. https://indieweb.social/@lukas/105759598530232264
