Do people still use @microformats? There's a blog post from last year but the wiki is full of broken links, and also the hcard generator includes AIM name :D. (Just poking around the #IndieWeb /wiki for the first time as I'm working on my digital garden..)

Maybe we just give it a new flashy name so it _feels_ new? The way that digital garden makes the idea of a commonplace book not seem centuries old from a time when handwriting on paper in a codex was the "new" thing? Everything old is new again, right? 🙂

Sidenote: I build microinjectors for biology research and you wouldn't believe the number of Ph.D. holding Nobel prize winners I've dealt with who want picoinjectors when the scale of their work doesn't warrant it, but the name seems sexier. Usually I just quote them a 100x price and they quickly come to their senses.

this nanoformats page reads like markdown but for mf2+html
