[manton] One of my early hesitations with “fediverse” was because this stuff should just be “the web”, not some special layer that exists off on its own like email. In theory, fediverse should encompass Bluesky, Nostr, WebSub, etc. Any plumbing including IndieWeb specs. But for now it mostly means ActivityPub.
