[tantek] Short version IIRC is if people without a domain want to contribute to content to the community, they can still use their own site or some social media to post about the IndieWeb and it will show up in #indieweb-stream where someone else in the community can see it and manually opt-in incorporate it into the wiki if it's appropriate
