[Fran] A couple more chats re chat / belonging / alternative channels today in Brighton. The risk of something like a forum ending up as a graveyard/grumpyard does exist. Long lived communities survive via a mix of individual direction (moderation) and culture (shared norms and purpose) — we already have the latter, and it seems momentum around the former (✋happy to dedicate some time, for one) . Maybe it could start with camp-alumni, later open
