What is IndieWebForum
#
Loqi
It looks like we don't have a page for "IndieWebForum" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "IndieWebForum is ____", a sentence describing the term)
#
gRegor
Nice looking forum, what software is that?

[aciccarello]
IndieWebForum is a place for people to ask questions and start discussions at a slower pace than in [[discuss|chat]].

[tantek]
capjamesg, it's entirely possible that if a new forum is initially populated with people from the current chat / discuss channels, that it will maintain a lot of the overall positive/welcoming culture, which may provide a foundation/baseline for self-moderation
#
[aciccarello]
Doh' I had to correct myself on wiki vs forum like half a dozen times.
#
[aciccarello]
I'm also on my phone now so I'll won't be able to fix it till later

what is mute
#
Loqi
mute is the ability to hide posts in your reader that have specific words, or from particular publishers, sometimes only a specific type or format, optionally with an automatic expiration, after which newer posts are visible again https://indieweb.org/mute

What is URL design?
#
Loqi
URL design is the practice of deliberately designing URLs, in particular, permalinks, typically for a better UX for everyone who creates, reads, and shares content https://indieweb.org/URL_design

[tantek], Hm, no strong opinion about it. If it helps organize/find them, maybe. I mostly use /cities for that or just 'what is' for a city.
