[tantek]2 IMO we want to be welcoming to as many (different kinds of) people we can, however when the labor of being /welcoming exceeds the positivity (if any) that a new person is bringing to the community (or worse, if their participation is anti-social, or otherwise unfriendly to others), I think there is an important judgment call to be made
