I went to look at the Ghost page on the wiki in context of the comment on their rejecting mf2 in the default theme and noticed that right above that is a quote from Anildash including a link that's presumably about to rot next month

if it's a Glitch link yeah that should be replaced with an internet archive link

I think that Glitch link is just a project that installs Ghost on Glitch, so maybe nothing to archive: https://glitch.com/~ghost
#
gRegor
There's a view source link though if anyone wants to grab it to be safe
#
gRegor
Jenn Schiffer might have already done so, she's been streaming while going through all her Glitch projects
#
[tantek]
huh I didn't realize Glitch subsumed Fog Creek Software, and then was bought by Fastly! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitch,_Inc.
#
[tantek]
that kind of rebranding an older org after a newer product is very confusing from an overloading and historical context perspective. e.g. this Wikipedia navbox made me 🤔 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Glitch_navbox

Yeah, it probably isn't useful to preserve (since it was for remixing), and it's part of a quote, which makes modifying it feel odd. Maybe the best thing to do is wrap nowiki around the url to keep it from being a link, and make a note of the reason for doing so?
#
gRegor
Perhaps eventually, if it doesn't get redirected. They're supporting redirecting project URLs I think, so Jenn might redirect it.

Also [tantek] , at first I thought you were talking about the fact that (I'm pretty sure) Glitch itself was renamed two, if not three times.

What is 88x31?
#
Loqi
88x31 pixels was a very popular web badge/button image size in the 1990s, especially among freewheeling and independent sites created on services like GeoCities, and there are IndieWeb 88x31 badges you may use https://indieweb.org/88x31
#

ok, I added "https://indieseas.net/ a search engine for 88x31 buttons described at https://www.reddit.com/r/neocities/comments/1l90ps5/i_made_a_search_engine_based_on_88x31_buttons/" to the "See Also" section of /88x31 https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=102310&oldid=102245
