Figured out how to clean up the list of links in the photos section without breaking them like I did during Berlin, ha

Just generated this week's newsletter! You still have a few minutes to make changes, and I'll re-generate it 10 minutes before it gets sent out at 3pm Pacific time. https://indieweb.org/this-week/2025-11-21.html

ah got it!

[tantek]
[artlung] it's because your post "name" is a proper prefix of your post "content"!
#
[tantek]
edit your post content first part and resend the webmention

[tantek]
what are interests?
#
Loqi
An interests page lists things people enjoy spending time exploring or doing, sometimes describing why, and typically published as a top level page on IndieWeb sites https://indieweb.org/interests
#
[tantek]
^ [artlung] I didn't fix the dfn in time for the newsletter but there's an attempt. please review and see if I've managed to maintain the intent of the meaning
#
[artlung]
you removed "passionate about" with "enjoy" and "expound" and "excites" with "sometimes describing" - if you feel inspired to add some blood back please do so! if not, I will add some humanity back! appreciate the structural change
#
[tantek]
yeah probably habit from editing Wikipedia articles with NPOV. feel free to add the level of passion you deem appropriate!
#
[tantek]
to be clear, feel free to rewrite as you see fit. I have no attachment to the words in the dfn 🙏

Unfortunately a lot of "should"s piling up on indiewebify.me. :/ Reminder there's this if anyone wants to take a run at it: https://github.com/indieweb/indiewebify-me/issues/82

gRegor maybe another hack session iteration during IWC SD? I'm not familiar with Slim but with some guidance I may be of some PHP help

Maybe. It doesn't sound very appealing to me at the moment, heh, but that could just be a bit of burnout. It doesn't have to stick with SlimPHP either, maybe fresh eyes and a barebones PHP script would work!
#
[tantek]
I'm happy to let you make that sort of decision and make myself available as a second pair of eyes or a resource to help complete small subtasks
#
gRegor
Well, I'm trying not to take so much of a lead on it is what I mean, haha
#
[tantek]
Ah gotcha
#
[tantek]
My guess is that "plain" PHP would be more maintainable by more people with lower levels of commitment, drive-by fixes etc.. Frameworks tend to add a learning curve on top.
