btrem I want to see if a title was submitted. I'm pretty sure it wasn't, and I'm playing around with a means of obtaining the title from the url. But I want to make sure I need to do it before I do, IYSWIM.

btrem Apropos of nothing, but Firefox is showing a not found page that is not from the site. It's a Firefox themed page that is clearly from the browser. I wonder why? Or how? Maybe if the message of a 404 response is below a certain number of bites it assumes there's no meaningful site 404 page and substitutes its own? It's a bit jarring, and I'm not a fan.

btrem Ah, I see the problem now. For bookmark submissions, the url is the /bookmarked/ page's url, not the submitting site's. Make sense, but that explains why my url hack failed.

btrem Also, Indieweb got the title automagically. There's no microformats on the page, so I suppose it has some other way to get the submitted page's title. In any case, there's no need for my project. (I'm almost disappointed; it probably would have been a neat exercise to obtain the title using my SSG.)
