[capjamesg] This may be flawed but the argument that comes to mind is I am not any less of a reader if I only use library books. I don’t technically own any of the books I am reading, and my library could close down (we fought it off for now though!), but I can still spend a few weeks with a book. In theory I could buy a book I first read in the library at any time from a bookshop to really own the book, but that means I’d need to pay something,
