gRegor From IRC, I think Discord users pretty regularly appear with `< >` brackets. I think the chat.indieweb.org logs clean that up somewhat

gRegor e.g. https://chat.indieweb.org/dev/2026-09-03/1788407958081100 showed up in irc with those brackets around the OP. The person they were replying to showed up just like in that log, though, no brackets but the `[d]` at the end.

gRegor I think IRCcloud might be doing some grouping in my UI too. E.g. that one I linked to was in a series of chats between discord users, but at the top of their "section" I see "IWCDiscord". I bet each line is coming from username IWCDiscord
