[tantek]I can't tell if the Pointverse posts are well intended but awkwardly unaware of indieweb or clumsy spam (copy pasta across channels). Thoughts?
LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "remove spam" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "remove spam is ____", a sentence describing the term)
aaronpkthe main problem with them as merch is there aren't really "print on demand" services for enamel pins like there are for a lot of other things, so it requires someone actually buys a bunch up front and deals with shipping out orders
[artlung]_(strong case for why gRegor is smarter than me there, I have never thought to do that despite those handy edit / make a pull request buttons inside GitHub and other source control websites)_
[tantek]The whole clone entirety to make an edit thing is kinda silly tbh (and massively user-unfriendly). Imagine if you had to clone Wikipedia to edit it. It would have gotten nowhere
[Morgan_M]I might add some basic links and a paragraph that the process is forking the repository, making changes, and submitting them as a PR with links to generic Github Docs
[tantek]I'd advise against that as both forking and generic GitHub docs are very dev-centric and frankly user-unfriendly. Both have too much excess "ceremony" for simple text file edits
[tantek]aaronpk, I suggest preemptively blocking *.chatgpt. site from every place you are blocking domains. From hashtag searches, indielogin, webmentionio etc
[Morgan_M]I just imagined a person using the pencil to make a fork/PR all together quickly their first time almost deserves a gold star like "Hey your a dev now!" =D. Anyways, the chat option is good, even if there is occasional need for redacting, smoothing that out as is accomplished by the wiki entry seems great to me
