tantek the uf1 test cases there should "just work" if you implement the uf2 rules for implied datetime, and the uf1 back compat parsing

barnabywalters well OTTOMH I can’t think of a case where someone would want to publish a dateless time as well as a datetime in the same microformat, so there’s probably no problem
