nicole Hello, I am new to microformatting. I wanted to know what is the HTML profile link for the new h-card 2 standard? I could only find a profile link for h-card 1: <link rel="profile" href="http://www.microformats.org/profile/hcard">.

nicole oh, ok... so what is the suggestion if I want to handwrite an hcard2 in HTML? without the profile attribute, wouldn't it be difficult for searchbots to index it?

pfefferle nicole I don’t think the profile URLs are used by any searchbots yet, so I would simply ignore them for now.

nicole Thanks for the info, and yeah a profile URI would be really great for standardization and wider adoption. I just wrote my first hcard earlier using hcard 1, I'll go ahead and upgrade the classes to hcard 2 but without the profile URI link I guess.

nicole Btw, you might want to drop a pixel on the C for the button images. It looks like it says "hoard" instead of "hcard" on my monitor :-/.
