tantek also, KevinMarks, there is nothing ambigous about it, you explicitly listed rel-alternate in the proposal for rel-urls, therefore it got included. I understand now that is not exactly as you intended, with the additional impact on "rels" etc. - but that was not what you wrote down. hence the need to write these things down.
