Zegnat uf-wiki-visitor: I do not belief there is anything other than adding class="h-breadcrump" to A elements proposed as a standard.

Zegnat But different search engines can parse breadcrumbs using their own microdata syntax. http://microformats.org/wiki/breadcrumbs-formats links to several such explanations.

uf-wiki-visitor thanks unfortunately my biggest issue right now is that i have multiple sections on a single page which can be deep linked to and i wanted to setup some microdata to specify a breadcrumb path for each
