Finally got the support for like and reply webactions – have handled the respective microformats. Favourite and replies are two post types that I think are very relevant for microposts. https://indieweb.org/webactions

In reply to https://aaronparecki.com/2018/06/30/11/your-first-webmention I always wanted to sort out my webmentions and the respective microformats in reply posts. Aaron’s post could not have arrived at a better time. Here’s hoping it comes out the way I want it to.

no problem [kim_landwehr] that's what it's there for :)

actually i'm a little confused why my site didn't detect the duplicate. normally it will update an existing one
#
aaronpk

[aaronpk] I am also trying to figure out why my image didn’t come thru. Just a suggestion but to make it easier for non-programmers there needs to be a clear indication of what needs to be changed to their information
#
aaronpk
I agree, but that's a very different problem

webmention.rocks will give you better information, as will the response when you RSVP to an indiewebcamp event
#
aaronpk
the trick is that when receiving webmentions, normally you want to provide as little information as possible in the response for security reasons. however that is obviously not very nice from a learning perspective.

so it's better to create a tool specifically to teach that returns detailed debugging information, but that isn't something you'd run on a normal website

GWG
This is more of a microformats question. What properties can I add to a link to an h-feed to indicate what that h-feed is of? Assuming I have multiple feeds
#
KartikPrabhu
GWG: depends on who is consuming it
#
KartikPrabhu
I jsut have a link with the name of the thing inside the <a>
#
KartikPrabhu
link has a rel=feed

The goal is to identify a blogroll
