↩️ http://microformats.org/wiki/resume-formats you are not the only one. Schema. Org currently has a JobPosting schema but none for a resume or cv. Look into the semantic web / structured data if you’re into this stuff. https://schema.org/JobPosting

if someone has $39 burning a hole in their pocket, I can whip up a quick HTML page that says 'YES' and links to the microformats2 wiki

It becoming a generic term for all the other crufty things is in our favour I think, especially when people look at implementing them

That's fair.

I need to get more into consuming them and find ways to integrate that into my existence. I have a chrome extension that detects them but I rarely look at it.

Whee, I tried looking at the info from the microformats wiki about browser support and it's all out of date. I can't update any of it because you must be logged in to do that. To log in, one must have an account. To create an account, one must use recaptcha v1. But recaptcha v1 is dead, so... :///////////

Cool! You folx can work on that and I'll work on getting a passport and a better paying job so I can go to things in other countries like that some day maybe if I ever get out of crippling debt and slim down to fit a single airplane seat.

I saw google just released v3 of recaptcha https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2018/10/introducing-recaptcha-v3-new-way-to.html though not sure how difficult it would be to use in MediaWiki

should "microformats" be lowercase even in a talk title, "An Introduction to Microformats"?
#
aaronpk
I wasn't aware it should ever be lowercase
#
gRegorLove
me either. I think I prefer it capitalized in the title.
