#gRegorLoveGoodreads has "bookshelves". There's three core ones you can't remove: read, currently reading, to-read. They also have an 'exclusive' flag, so a book can only be in one of them at a time.
#gRegorLoveYou can add as many other shelves as you want, including setting that exclusive flag
#gRegorLoveThen they have review records, which can have a start/end date and multiple progress entries
#gRegorLoveFor a while they didn't support the concept of re-reading a book, but they've added some type of records so you can track multiple start/end dates for re-readings
#KartikPrabhugRegorLove: "bookshelves" does sound a lot like category to me

#[jgmac1106]bookshelve could also be a collection of all you read posts
#[jgmac1106]maybe what you do is make a read post, and want-to, start, and finish are webmentions you send to that post?...or do you go back and revise your read post and change the p-category status?
#[eddie]Hmmm yeah nvm I guess I’m thinking more internally than external consumer
#KartikPrabhuif you are aggregating by the book, then you can sort those posts by published date and you get a sorted list of status updates
#[eddie]So Micropub handler could transition internal storage based on category tags with special handling
#LoqiKartikPrabhu has 30 karma in this channel over the last year (63 in all channels)
#[jgmac1106]and then I guess then under the aggregation plan adjusting editing the post would just change how it aggregates and it would work
#KartikPrabhuyeah I suppose. you can use dt-edited to do that too
#KartikPrabhuso you publish a to-read post, but then make an edit to have it be "reading" at it can see that
#[jgmac1106]then maybe IMO in terms of iwbc long term be nice if there were input fields that let you select want to, started, and finished, and each time you updated your post it would add the p-category and a dt-edited?
#[jgmac1106]reminds me I have a bunch of books to add
#KartikPrabhuor it could make separate read-status posts about the same book. Depends on the features users want and gRegorLove wants to implement

#[Vincent]hello, is there a good tool or recommended parser I can use to check I’ve got my MF correct?
#[Vincent]@KartikPrabhu thanks! Of course I didn’t look in the most obvious place first #fail.

#[Vincent]hello, I’ve been digging through the microformats wiki but I can’t find an answer. What do the p-*,u-*,dt-*,e-* prefixes mean on the relevant MF tags?
#aaronpkI seem to remember a place on the wiki that describes it but I can't find it now
